Portus Ganda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Vits was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Hawelka Himalayan High's goal looked a bit too open when Rolf Stevens came free, but Fredrik Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Wim Vits had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Adrian Byström fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hawelka Himalayan High's protests and gave Adrian Byström a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hawelka Himalayan High getting a freekick after 42 minutes play.
