Basarab Arotăriței blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerrit Diependaele having to make a save. In the 5th match minute, Portus Ganda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibau Weynants to maneuver through the defense. Nae Braica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerrit Diependaele having to interfere. If Basarab Arotăriței had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Berea's zone, Rolf Stevens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristide Mârzac came out of the goal and Rolf Stevens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute Rolf Stevens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristide Mârzac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Portus Ganda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibau Weynants to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 24 minutes, Basarab Arotăriței managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Berea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basarab Arotăriței was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute Jean Neirynck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristide Mârzac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Vits in the 29th minute of play forced FC Berea's goalkeeper Aristide Mârzac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, FC Berea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Boacă to maneuver through the defense. Gerrit Diependaele was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Basarab Arotăriței capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Basarab Arotăriței really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 37th match minute, Portus Ganda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Neirynck to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th match minute, Portus Ganda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wim Vits to maneuver through the defense. After 40 played minutes Portus Ganda got a freekick which was hit by Wim Vits. Aristide Mârzac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Stevens, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the match, FC Berea's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Vits came free, but Aristide Mârzac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wim Vits stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC Berea's Mădălin Săliştean got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Rolf Stevens sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Aristide Mârzac threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Rolf Stevens this time. Gerrit Diependaele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basarab Arotăriței, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Basarab Arotăriței notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Portus Ganda's Gerrit Diependaele. Gerrit Diependaele was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Calistrat Boc kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Gerrit Diependaele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Călin Onuț in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Stevens in the 75th minute of play forced FC Berea's goalkeeper Aristide Mârzac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Christopher Swinnen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Portus Ganda's goal looked a bit too open when Călin Onuț came free, but Gerrit Diependaele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portus Ganda's Gerrit Diependaele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calistrat Boc in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, FC Berea's goal looked a bit too open when Kobe Van Cleijnenbreughel came free, but Aristide Mârzac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marten Ombelets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Portus Ganda's Gerrit Diependaele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basarab Arotăriței in the 84th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Gigi Ardeleanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mădălin Săliştean's late challenge caught a Portus Ganda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mădălin Săliştean helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Berea getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mădălin Săliştean hit a great ball. FC Berea were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Portus Ganda for a fine match.
