Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lekparken FC's Gustav Strömbom started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Gustav Strömbom came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Lekparken FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustav Strömbom couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute, Olov Gunnarsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Håkan Deckbergh was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Håkan Deckbergh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Gunnarsson in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Gunnarsson in the 13th minute of play forced IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Håkan Deckbergh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bosse Laden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Håkan Deckbergh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustav Strömbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Matthias Ahlstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Christer Lindström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Håkan Deckbergh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stellan Karlstedt in the 27th minute of the match. If Bengt-Arne Dahlquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Bengt-Arne Dahlquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Gunnarsson in the 33rd minute of play forced IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Håkan Deckbergh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. IFK Göteborg's Håkan Deckbergh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Strömbom in the 36th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, IFK Göteborg's goal looked a bit too open when Stellan Karlstedt came free, but Håkan Deckbergh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christer Lindström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt-Arne Dahlquist in the 41st minute. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Bengt-Arne Dahlquist took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Christer Lindström to make any attempt to save it. In the 47th minute Stellan Karlstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Deckbergh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Bengt-Arne Dahlquist made the kick off in the second half. Bengt-Arne Dahlquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Håkan Deckbergh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stellan Karlstedt in the 77th minute of the match. Håkan Deckbergh made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Gustav Strömbom sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute of the match, Henry Holmberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Håkan Deckbergh saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 87th minute, Lekparken FC's Stellan Karlstedt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Håkan Deckbergh. Håkan Deckbergh yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Lekparken FC played a much better game than IFK Göteborg and deserved their victory. The IFK Göteborg players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
