Gerrit Diependaele was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gerrit Diependaele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Zaccardi in the 6th minute of play. In the 11th minute Rolf Stevens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filippo Barbato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enzo Bobbio hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 16 minutes, Carter Gizzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. Filippo Barbato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Vits, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Portus Ganda's Gerrit Diependaele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Zaccardi in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Vits in the 38th minute of play forced XMAS's goalkeeper Filippo Barbato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Rolf Stevens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Portus Ganda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. XMAS were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wim Vits made a kick off. Ennio De Nardis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th minute Wim Vits shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filippo Barbato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rdth minute of the game Wim Vits who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XMAS's Filippo Barbato was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wim Vits in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filippo Barbato saved XMAS from getting behind. 78 minutes into the match, XMAS's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Vits came free, but Filippo Barbato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, one of XMAS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for XMAS. The referee gave Portus Ganda a penalty, 80 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rolf Stevens, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of XMAS's Filippo Barbato. 1-2. Christopher Swinnen hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The supporters of XMAS booed when Portus Ganda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wim Vits didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Damiano De Nardis from long distance, 87 minutes into the match, got Gerrit Diependaele's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Wim Vits's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filippo Barbato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play.
