In the 3rd minute Jurand Adamczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Backman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute Kåge BF were awarded a corner. Torsten Bäcklin went to the cornerflag to take it. Hjalmar Spetz made a great header on Kåge BF's corner, it was just that Rosendahl Flyers's Richard Brodin managed to reach the ball for a save. After 16 minutes of play, Kåge BF's Andreas King made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Brodin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas King got free with Richard Brodin in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Torsten Bäcklin struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Richard Brodin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kåge BF. In the 38th match minute, Rosendahl Flyers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Oskar Lundberg to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Rosendahl Flyers booed when Kåge BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janusz Tipinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jurand Adamczak to make the kick off. Kåge BF's Roland Backman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurand Adamczak in the 59th minute of play. Roland Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Hägglund in the 73rd minute of play. Lars-Erik Wik charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lars-Erik Wik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kåge BF's Lars-Erik Wik got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Roland Backman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordy Carayol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roland Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordy Carayol in the 96th minute of play. Kåge BF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
