YNWA's goalkeeper Şerif Nesil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Co Gøte. AFK Petržalka's Kamil Čontofalský played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Braadbøl in the 8th minute of play. After 15 minutes, Dávid Strelec made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Şerif Nesil tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grigoris Korpetis in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kamil Čontofalský prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vernon De Marco hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Louis Braadbøl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liverpool F.C. YNWA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Louis Braadbøl made the kick off in the second half. Jozef Cibulka's late challenge caught a Liverpool F.C. YNWA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jozef Cibulka helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Liverpool F.C. YNWA booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jozef Cibulka didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's goal looked a bit too open when Co Gøte came free, but Şerif Nesil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grigoris Korpetis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Kamil Čontofalský made a huge save. Kamil Čontofalský took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marinos Sidiropoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Liverpool F.C. YNWA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
