A collision led to AFK Petržalka getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Richard Zedník hit a great ball. Kamil Čontofalský took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Andreasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hubert Ahlfors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Co Gøte in the 25th minute of play. In the 30th minute Co Gøte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Ahlfors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vernon De Marco kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as SteffosPojkar FF's Jonatan Andreasson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kamil Čontofalský. That made the score 1-0 after 34 minutes of play. In the 37th minute, Dávid Strelec ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hubert Ahlfors was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.
