With his leg Armando Polidori managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when FC BaLiSt's Valentin Zotincă fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Armando Polidori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Zotincă in the 10th minute of the match. Valentin Zotincă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC BaLiSt's goalkeeper Chi Tzalov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Ennio De Nardis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ennio De Nardis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Armando Polidori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Zotincă in the 37th minute. 42 minutes into the match, FC BaLiSt's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Ascoli came free, but Chi Tzalov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match Dorin Stroici sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armando Polidori skillfully saved the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

XMAS made a substitution. Concetto Marinucci replaced Christian Zaccardi. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ennio De Nardis was the one to do the kick off. Albert Nae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Zotincă kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Valentin Zotincă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Polidori was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. FC BaLiSt's Gabriel Dragușin was substituted for Aurelian Grozuță. FC BaLiSt made a substitution. Maxim Oprescu replaced Ionel Manafu. In the 79th match minute, XMAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Barillari to maneuver through the defense. When Ionel Zăgănescu came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the FC BaLiSt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionel Zăgănescu couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Zăgănescu in the 82nd minute of play forced XMAS's goalkeeper Armando Polidori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Polidori didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ionel Zăgănescu went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Ionel Zăgănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Albert Nae left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC BaLiSt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 93 minutes into the game, George Terzian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC BaLiSt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave XMAS the free kick. After 93 played minutes FC BaLiSt got a freekick which was hit by George Terzian. Armando Polidori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionel Zăgănescu in the 96th minute of the match. A collision led to XMAS getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Concetto Marinucci hit a great ball. There was no doubt that FC BaLiSt were the better team. FC BaLiSt's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
