In the 14th minute, Álvaro Semedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adomas Bikulčius was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Regimantas Navikas fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Karamba's protests and gave Regimantas Navikas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Beatriz 08 booed when FC Karamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Regimantas Navikas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, FC Karamba's Regimantas Navikas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abel Meira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Abel Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Regimantas Navikas in the 26th minute of the match. Adomas Bikulčius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Pereira in the 31st minute of play. Abel Meira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michael Jordan in the 36th minute. The corner ended in Adolfas Markūnas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Beatriz 08's Abel Meira did a great save. After a rather tough play, FC Karamba's Arnas Obrikis got a free kick in the 40th minute. Michael Jordan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Abel Meira made a huge save. Zigmas Tučkus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Roberto Pinhal came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the FC Beatriz 08 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Pinhal couldn't finish the play. After the first half FC Beatriz 08 were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
