Juliusz Gniewek's late challenge caught a FC BaLiSt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juliusz Gniewek helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC BaLiSt booed when JUNICO Ełk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juliusz Gniewek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Krzysztof Hajduk might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chi Tzalov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Krzysztof Hajduk ran back to his position shaking his head. JUNICO Ełk's Artur Zapolskih played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Zotincă in the 22nd minute of play. Artur Zapolskih made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yang Wei in the 26th minute. Albert Nae's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Artur Zapolskih firmly grabbed it by the left post. FC BaLiSt's Yang Wei was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 27th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Albert Nae did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Artur Zapolskih 31 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Krzysztof Hajduk managed to get in a good position for a shot. JUNICO Ełk's supporters rose to their feet, but Krzysztof Hajduk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chi Tzalov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Artūras Zapolski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chi Tzalov having to make a save.
