The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Jordan got free with Hugon Derlanga in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Zryw Samsonów's Hugon Derlanga got control of the ball when Michael Jordan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Borys Maruda took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adomas Bikulčius. Adomas Bikulčius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Einaras Kėbla spun around in front of the goal 34 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Zryw Samsonów's goal. The supporters of FC Karamba booed when Zryw Samsonów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zdzislaw Dziatkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Almantas Girčius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugon Derlanga having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Regimantas Navikas to make the kick off. Adomas Bikulčius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borys Maruda in the 52nd minute of the match. Adomas Bikulčius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borys Maruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 67th minute Regimantas Navikas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugon Derlanga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Regimantas Navikas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Hugon Derlanga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Kilar in the 76th minute of play forced FC Karamba's goalkeeper Adomas Bikulčius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugon Derlanga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Einaras Kėbla, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aivaras Barkus during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
