In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Galicia Lviv's goalkeeper Gustavo Boldrini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Borys Maruda hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC Galicia Lviv's Ruslan Golaydo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Gustavo Boldrini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borys Maruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Artur Pylyp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Galicia Lviv's Gustavo Boldrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borys Maruda in the 33rd minute of play. FC Galicia Lviv were furious when Zakhar Checher was red carded, 35 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Galicia Lviv! 37 minutes into the game, Eugeniusz Siekierka recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gustavo Boldrini. Eugeniusz Siekierka showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. A collision led to FC Galicia Lviv getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Vadym Maxymov hit a great ball. Sergiy Dudnyk kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Borys Maruda lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Gustavo Boldrini. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Borys Maruda made the kick off in the second half. Hugon Derlanga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiy Loboyko in the 53rd minute of play. Gustavo Boldrini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Borys Maruda went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Hugon Derlanga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svyatoslav Krutyvus, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute of the match FC Galicia Lviv got a corner. Zryw Samsonów's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ruslan Golaydo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ruslan Golaydo made a great header on FC Galicia Lviv's corner, it was just that Zryw Samsonów's Hugon Derlanga managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiy Loboyko in the 67th minute of play forced Zryw Samsonów's goalkeeper Hugon Derlanga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hugon Derlanga firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zryw Samsonów had won after a very even match.
