Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dávid Strelec made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Zavior Moiselo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute Matthias Bern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamil Čontofalský saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to AFK Petržalka getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Richard Zedník hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, G A I S's goal looked a bit too open when Dávid Strelec came free, but Staffan Eckegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Staffan Eckegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Co Gøte in the 11th minute of play. After 13 minutes G A I S's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Okoyomon Charles Bukowski who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in G A I S's zone, Co Gøte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Staffan Eckegren came out of the goal and Co Gøte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute, Dávid Strelec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kamil Čontofalský made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Bern in the 19th minute of play. Co Gøte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 21st minute Co Gøte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staffan Eckegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Co Gøte in the 23rd minute of play forced G A I S's goalkeeper Staffan Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Bern in the 26th minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Kamil Čontofalský to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Staffan Eckegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dávid Strelec, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Co Gøte notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of G A I S's Staffan Eckegren. Staffan Eckegren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Co Gøte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staffan Eckegren having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matthias Bern stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kamil Čontofalský showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zavior Moiselo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When AFK Petržalka's Dávid Strelec in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The tension between the AFK Petržalka and the G A I S players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, AFK Petržalka's Adam Obert got a free kick in the 65th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Co Gøte got free with Staffan Eckegren in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner ended in Sixten Ståhlberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AFK Petržalka's Kamil Čontofalský did a great save. 75 minutes into the match, G A I S's goalkeeper Staffan Eckegren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Co Gøte. Staffan Eckegren was a little too slow when Co Gøte got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-2. If Co Gøte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, G A I S's Staffan Eckegren got control of the ball when Co Gøte tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, Pontus Ström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kamil Čontofalský didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matthias Bern went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 89thth minute of the game Dávid Strelec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but G A I S's Staffan Eckegren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. AFK Petržalka's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Okoyomon Charles Bukowski in the 92nd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Richard Zedník heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 94 played minutes G A I S got a freekick which was hit by Göran Wahlström. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AFK Petržalka walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
