Raul Gaizko scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tony Vanbuyten, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Eliseu Tande took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Leon Llorenc to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliseu Tande got free with Leon Llorenc in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Antapoca FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Aurelio Fe hit a great ball. Jüri Djorkaeff was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Tony Vanbuyten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Favila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony Vanbuyten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Favila in the 43rd minute of the match. Leon Llorenc was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Jüri Djorkaeff capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jüri Djorkaeff really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raul Gaizko to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Konrad Knopek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Llorenc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Antapoca FC's zone, Jüri Djorkaeff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Llorenc came out of the goal and Jüri Djorkaeff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute Jüri Djorkaeff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Llorenc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Antapoca FC's Aristides Favila sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tony Vanbuyten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jüri Djorkaeff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Konrad Knopek struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Leon Llorenc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portus Ganda. 94 minutes into the match, Raul Gaizko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tony Vanbuyten. Portus Ganda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raul Gaizko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Antapoca FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
