Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bengt-Arne Dahlquist kicked off to start the match. Håkan Deckbergh was a little too slow when Ludwig Jærndal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Bengt-Arne Dahlquist hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Kåre Flintø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Håkan Deckbergh made a huge save. Kjell Björnberg hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Håkan Deckbergh was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bobbi Mejnholt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. Håkan Deckbergh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bobbi Mejnholt in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute Bobbi Mejnholt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Deckbergh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bobbi Mejnholt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Håkan Deckbergh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th play minute Ludwig Jærndal came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Håkan Deckbergh. 4-0. After 34 played minutes Strib Galacticos IF got a freekick which was hit by Timmy Voldvard. Axel Schønfeldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Håkan Deckbergh firmly grabbed it by the left post. IFK Göteborg's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Axel Schønfeldt scored to the left of an out of position Håkan Deckbergh, making the score, 5-0. With a little luck, IFK Göteborg's Håkan Deckbergh got control of the ball when Bobbi Mejnholt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute, Strib Galacticos IF's Bobbi Mejnholt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Håkan Deckbergh. Håkan Deckbergh yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bobbi Mejnholt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Kjell Björnberg fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IFK Göteborg's protests and gave Kjell Björnberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute Bobbi Mejnholt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Deckbergh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, IFK Göteborg's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Schønfeldt came free, but Håkan Deckbergh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Bobbi Mejnholt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Deckbergh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, IFK Göteborg's goal looked a bit too open when Bobbi Mejnholt came free, but Håkan Deckbergh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Axel Schønfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Deckbergh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Håkan Deckbergh came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Strib Galacticos IF's Bobbi Mejnholt. But to his dismay, Bobbi Mejnholt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Schønfeldt in the 86th minute of play forced IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Håkan Deckbergh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Strib Galacticos IF's Axel Schønfeldt got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Strib Galacticos IF booed when IFK Göteborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Björnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Håkan Deckbergh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludwig Jærndal in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Strib Galacticos IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
