Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rene Rostholm to make the kick off. Janusz Giejda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Børge Buhr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Rene Rostholm took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Janusz Giejda to make any attempt to save it. In the 97th minute Randers A.F.C. were awarded a corner. Alberto Dunixi went to the cornerflag to take it. Szymon Podowski tried in the 98th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Janusz Giejda a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-14. When the match was over Randers A.F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC SZAFIRY throughout the match.
