Andırın SK's attentive Gökçek Yavuzalp managed to snatch the ball when Nae Griguță made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolae Barbu got free with Zhu Ao in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nistor Costandache to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batıhan Saik in the 69th minute of play forced FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Marian Văduvescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Batıhan Saik in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marian Văduvescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute Lucian Stere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhu Ao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 minutes Andırın SK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Terry Doyle who took care of the corner kick. After 74 played minutes FC Steaua Pildesti got a freekick which was hit by Nicolae Barbu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olaf Jarosz got free with Marian Văduvescu in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the match, Batıhan Saik notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Steaua Pildesti's Marian Văduvescu. Marian Văduvescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zhu Ao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Paulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Robert Antohi got a free kick in the 85th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Andırın SK's Batıhan Saik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
