An unexpectedly hard shot by Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu in the 6th minute of play forced Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Jimmy Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Šilha in the 12th minute of play. Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jimmy Olsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. Chiquito Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvid Carlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chiquito Flores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvid Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 29 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Kubánek came free, but Jimmy Olsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonard Kubánek in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimmy Olsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chiquito Flores made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Albin Nilsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th match minute, Linköpings AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julien Staffelbach to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Regis Specht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, FK Eldema Mstišov's goalkeeper Chiquito Flores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julien Staffelbach. Julien Staffelbach kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 39thth minute. Though ot was a great shot FK Eldema Mstišov's keeper Chiquito Flores was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The audience was convinced that Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimmy Olsson was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Gabriel Šlapák fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Olsson having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arvid Carlsson to make the kick off. FK Eldema Mstišov's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Čeněk Laňka in the 55th minute. A nice corner shot did that Čeněk Laňka got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jimmy Olsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Leonard Kubánek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FK Eldema Mstišov's Chiquito Flores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Carlsson in the 67th minute of play. Jimmy Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu in the 68th minute of the match. The FK Eldema Mstišov players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
