In the 7th match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Antohi to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute Cruz Credo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Văduvescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeronimo Gines didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolae Barbu went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the match, Cruz Credo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marian Văduvescu. FC Steaua Pildesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cruz Credo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 15thth minute of the game Filip Paulescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maravilla's Jeronimo Gines was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cruz Credo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marian Văduvescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute Lucian Stere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Gines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeronimo Gines came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Steaua Pildesti's Lucian Stere. But to his dismay, Lucian Stere quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolae Barbu in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeronimo Gines prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Maravilla defense, Zygmunt Dunajski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeronimo Gines. The Maravilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeronimo Gines should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute, Cruz Credo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Maravilla's Mohamed Salah was substituted for Esteve Ariando. The throw-in from Lucian Stere in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Maravilla's Paulus Van Poucke. In the 39th match minute, Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulus Van Poucke to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cruz Credo in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marian Văduvescu saved FC Steaua Pildesti from getting behind. After 45 minutes of play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Zygmunt Dunajski made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeronimo Gines was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the game, Mohamed Salah cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Marian Văduvescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Maravilla players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Steaua Pildesti were winning 2-4.

FC Steaua Pildesti's Marian Văduvescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César de Senna in the 59th minute of play. After 60 minutes, César de Senna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maravilla and the FC Steaua Pildesti players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César de Senna to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Maravilla's Cruz Credo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marian Văduvescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 66 played minutes, Maravilla's César de Senna shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marian Văduvescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maravilla reached it. 70 minutes into the match, Maravilla's Cruz Credo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marian Văduvescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute Maravilla were awarded a corner. César de Senna went to the cornerflag to take it. Robert Antohi tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Marian Văduvescu. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-4 in the 72nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filip Paulescu in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeronimo Gines prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cruz Credo kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elias Figueroa during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Maravilla getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Elias Figueroa hit a great ball. In the 85th match minute, Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Figueroa to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes in the game Zygmunt Dunajski after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Jeronimo Gines. A very good opportunity. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Cruz Credo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maravilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Cruz Credo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marian Văduvescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cruz Credo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The FC Steaua Pildesti players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
