Cordero Trielles made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Valdo Prado sent off a good shot on target. Sergio Rengifo might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erasmo Urbez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergio Rengifo ran back to his position shaking his head. Erasmo Urbez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Rengifo in the 6th minute of play. Sporting Buceo's Cordero Trielles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Ramos in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sergio Rengifo in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo Urbez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Leon Sport Club's Manuel Coelho got a free kick in the 16th minute. Cordero Trielles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdo Prado in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute Sergio Rengifo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Urbez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdo Prado got free with Cordero Trielles in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 26 minutes Sporting Buceo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ingvar Kollberg who took care of the corner kick. In the 28th minute Valdo Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordero Trielles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Sergio Rengifo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Leon Sport Club's Erasmo Urbez. Erasmo Urbez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 41 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Ramos came free, but Cordero Trielles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sporting Buceo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Rengifo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Erasmo Urbez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergio Rengifo. A throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game was made by Ingvar Kollberg with Valdo Prado as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Sporting Buceo's Cordero Trielles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Ramos in the 93rd minute of play. A collision led to Leon Sport Club getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ingvar Kollberg hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Sergio Rengifo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erasmo Urbez. The goal made the score 0-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sporting Buceo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
