In the 5thth minute of the game Lucian Stere who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Romulo Viator was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marian Văduvescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaká Carneiro's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Ricardinho Mesquita's late challenge caught a FC Steaua Pildesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardinho Mesquita helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th match minute, OTTO FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardinho Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. Marian Văduvescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Carneiro in the 17th minute of the match. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Nicolae Barbu scored to the left of an out of position Romulo Viator, making the score, 1-1. In the 28th minute Lucian Stere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Viator saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 played minutes OTTO FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Kevyn De Bruyne. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Kaká Carneiro put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Marian Văduvescu. A collision led to OTTO FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Kevyn De Bruyne hit a great ball. After some careless play in the FC Steaua Pildesti defense, Su Shu Zhen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marian Văduvescu. The FC Steaua Pildesti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marian Văduvescu should have stopped the shot. Nicolae Barbu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Romulo Viator came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicolae Barbu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucian Stere to make the kick off. If Silvestre Pumarejo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57thth minute of the game Zygmunt Dunajski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Romulo Viator was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Zygmunt Dunajski put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Romulo Viator. In the 59th minute Cristian Fința shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Viator saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Cristian Fința ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romulo Viator was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Romulo Viator showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolae Barbu, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rdth minute of the game Lucian Stere who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Romulo Viator was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marian Văduvescu made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Kaká Carneiro sent off a good shot on target. A nice corner shot did that Su Shu Zhen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marian Văduvescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Ricardinho Mesquita was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. 77 minutes into the match, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Lucian Stere came free, but Romulo Viator reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucian Stere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Viator having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Lucian Stere had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romulo Viator. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucian Stere was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. Kevyn De Bruyne hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Terry Doyle took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Romulo Viator. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
