After a rather tough play, Jenipapo SC's Vinicio Junior got a free kick in the 15th minute. Karl Pilgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Junior in the 62nd minute of play. Linköpings AIK made a substitution. Johan Johansson replaced Marbjörn Garpsson. Linköpings AIK's Bert Karlsson was substituted for Andrzej Badanowski. Dylan Browne made in the 72nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Maurício Arósio immediately put the ball in play.
