An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Manuelo in the 6th minute of play forced Vicit FC's goalkeeper Pedro Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauricio Manuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Manuelo in the 10th minute of play forced Vicit FC's goalkeeper Pedro Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Talleres's Pedro Mazza threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfredo Tab, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Talleres's Mauricio Manuelo got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mauricio Manuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Manuelo in the 18th minute of the match. Josef Tunberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Pedro Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Tab struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Pedro Mazza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talleres. Mauricio Manuelo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Pedro Mazza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vicit FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Alfredo Tab scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Mazza, making the score, 1-0. Alfredo Tab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Pedro Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauricio Manuelo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Mazza having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Vicit FC's Guto do Vale got a free kick in the 37th minute. Vicit FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mauricio Manuelo 38 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Pedro Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Manuelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Manuelo in the 43rd minute of play forced Vicit FC's goalkeeper Pedro Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Talleres's Izydor Bugajski was substituted for Perico Pérez. Talleres's Lukita Modrić was substituted for Sergiu Bulencea. The wind increased when Kaká Campidelis made the kick off in the second half. Mauricio Manuelo took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Mazza. Pedro Mazza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Jorge Martínez scored 5-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Mazza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peker Durusoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Talleres's Mauricio Manuelo in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vicit FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 62nd minute of the match Talleres got a corner. Vicit FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jorge Martínez ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pedro Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Tab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Tab in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Mazza saved Vicit FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Tab in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Mazza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 71 minutes, Josef Tunberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josef Tunberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Mauricio Manuelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Mazza. Vicit FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauricio Manuelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Mauricio Manuelo struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Pedro Mazza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauricio Manuelo's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Pedro Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Manuelo in the 86th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Mauricio Manuelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Mazza. Vicit FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauricio Manuelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. When Aldo Gonza came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Talleres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Gonza couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Mauricio Manuelo sped through Vicit FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Mazza. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Talleres fully deserved thier win.
