Marcel Ramos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Mazza came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcel Ramos slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 16th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdo Prado got free with Pedro Mazza in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute Moisés Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Urbez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moisés Negri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Erasmo Urbez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jon Loarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Ramos in the 29th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Vicit FC's goalkeeper Pedro Mazza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giovanni Massa. Vicit FC's Pedro Mazza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Vicit FC from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Giovanni Massa sped through Vicit FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Mazza. Leon Sport Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giovanni Massa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Vicit FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Loarte came free, but Pedro Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Vicit FC's Pedro Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Loarte in the 85th minute of play. Pedro Mazza came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Leon Sport Club's Davi Alexandridis. But to his dismay, Davi Alexandridis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Kléberson Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Mazza having to interfere. After 91 minutes of play Vicit FC's Silas Tavares was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Leon Sport Club fully deserved thier win.
