In the 6th minute Godofredo Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Urbez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godofredo Marin in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo Urbez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godofredo Marin in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Urbez saved Leon Sport Club from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Godofredo Marin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erasmo Urbez was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Leon Sport Club's Kléberson Loureiro got a free kick in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Leon Sport Club's zone, Cruz Credo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Urbez came out of the goal and Cruz Credo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cruz Credo in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo Urbez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erasmo Urbez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cruz Credo went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute Cruz Credo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Urbez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maravilla's Cruz Credo got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oswaldo Talavera charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oswaldo Talavera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Maravilla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 70th minute, Cruz Credo made a precise shot to the right of Erasmo Urbez. Leon Sport Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. After having played for 74 minutes, Valdo Prado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leon Sport Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdo Prado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Leon Sport Club defense, Cruz Credo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erasmo Urbez. The Leon Sport Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erasmo Urbez should have stopped the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Maravilla's Cruz Credo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erasmo Urbez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cruz Credo in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Cruz Credo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Maravilla made a substitution. Erasmo Urbez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Estevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erasmo Urbez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. After some careless play in the Maravilla defense, Valdo Prado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeronimo Gines. The Maravilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeronimo Gines should have stopped the shot.
