Erasmo Urbez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. The supporters of Leon Sport Club booed when PINGO PINGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Tancoš didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Marcel Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Raphael having to interfere. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leon Sport Club reached it. Paulo José de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Erasmo Urbez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th play minute Filip Josefsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Erasmo Urbez. 0-9. With a little luck, Leon Sport Club's Erasmo Urbez got control of the ball when Filip Josefsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. PINGO PINGO's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
