Pedro Mazza was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Cruz Credo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cruz Credo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Samuca Leão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeronimo Gines having to make a save. Jeronimo Gines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuca Leão in the 26th minute of the match. If Godofredo Marin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the match, Vicit FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cruz Credo came free, but Pedro Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Cruz Credo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Mazza, 2-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuca Leão was the one to do the kick off. Jeronimo Gines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuca Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Cruz Credo took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Mazza. Zé Pedro Leal hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vicit FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Maravilla.
