With a little luck, Leon Sport Club's Erasmo Urbez got control of the ball when Alfredo Tab tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mauricio Manuelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauricio Manuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Erasmo Urbez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Talleres booed when Leon Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Talleres's Mauricio Manuelo got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Erasmo Urbez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jon Loarte to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Giovanni Massa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cecilio Lastur made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Giovanni Massa sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Manuelo came free, but Erasmo Urbez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Claudinei Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, Alfredo Tab got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erasmo Urbez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Tab in the 65th minute of the match. Cecilio Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdo Prado in the 66th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Talleres's goalkeeper Cecilio Lastur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kléberson Loureiro. 76 minutes into the match, Alfredo Tab had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erasmo Urbez. Leon Sport Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Tab was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When Mauricio Manuelo came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Talleres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Manuelo couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdo Prado got free with Cecilio Lastur in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leon Sport Club's Erasmo Urbez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Manuelo in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute Mauricio Manuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Urbez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdo Prado got free with Cecilio Lastur in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erasmo Urbez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Manuelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
