The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jeronimo Gines stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Milko's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Jeronimo Gines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Milko in the 5th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Cruz Credo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Igor Milko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeronimo Gines. Maravilla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Milko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cristiano Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cruz Credo in the 16th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Milko in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeronimo Gines prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd minute Zé Carlos Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Gines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Cruz Credo came free, but Cristiano Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maravilla's goalkeeper Jeronimo Gines, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Maravilla getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Paulus Van Poucke hit a great ball. Maravilla's Mohamed Salah was substituted for Esteve Ariando. Paulus Van Poucke kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Jeronimo Gines came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Igor Milko. But to his dismay, Igor Milko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

A collision led to Maravilla getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Roberto Mouzo hit a great ball. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Luiz Eduardo Albuquerque was substituted for Luiz Paulo Dracena. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Dagoberto Moraes was substituted for Igor Milko. A collision led to Maravilla getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Roberto Mouzo hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Cruz Credo came free, but Cristiano Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cruz Credo in the 68th minute of play forced Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cristiano Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Mouzo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Dagoberto Moraes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jeronimo Gines came out and tried to block the shot, but Dagoberto Moraes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Dagoberto Moraes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jeronimo Gines, 0-4. Zé Carlos Madureira might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeronimo Gines. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zé Carlos Madureira ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the game, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Dagoberto Moraes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeronimo Gines made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Zé Carlos Madureira got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
