An unexpectedly hard shot by Jasper Staarman in the 3rd minute of play forced VN SOKOLI-VARNA's goalkeeper Haralampi Kúrkelanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haralampi Kúrkelanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jasper Staarman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haralampi Kúrkelanov made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Geert Arend Robben sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Elbert Spanjer took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Haralampi Kúrkelanov to make any attempt to save it. If Valentin Krotev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Haralampi Kúrkelanov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tzvetoslav Vúlchov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haralampi Kúrkelanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jasper Staarman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Avgust Garov kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Jasper Staarman took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haralampi Kúrkelanov. Haralampi Kúrkelanov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tzvetoslav Vúlchov in the 31st minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Laurens Oosterman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Tzvetoslav Vúlchov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laurens Oosterman. De Pelgrims's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tzvetoslav Vúlchov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a rather tough play, VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Argir Ilchev got a free kick in the 34th minute. VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Haralampi Kúrkelanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jasper Staarman in the 36th minute of play. Jasper Staarman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haralampi Kúrkelanov having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Gercho Nenchovski came free, but Laurens Oosterman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Krotev charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Krotev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Haralampi Kúrkelanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasper Staarman in the 54th minute of play. Laurens Oosterman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tzvetoslav Vúlchov, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 61st minute, Geert Arend Robben left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Pelgrims fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 66 minutes into the game, Donny van Schaik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Pelgrims's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VN SOKOLI-VARNA the free kick. Donny van Schaik kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Haralampi Kúrkelanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiel Dilling, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd match minute, De Pelgrims was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennart de Vlieger to maneuver through the defense. VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Haralampi Kúrkelanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jasper Staarman in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Tzvetoslav Vúlchov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Laurens Oosterman. The goal made the score 3-2. Gercho Nenchovski came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Laurens Oosterman could save by the left post. Herman Craandijk hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After 93 minutes, Neno Vladimirov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VN SOKOLI-VARNA and the De Pelgrims players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes VN SOKOLI-VARNA got a freekick which was hit by Neno Vladimirov. After 95 played minutes De Pelgrims got a freekick which was hit by Herman Craandijk. The VN SOKOLI-VARNA players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented De Pelgrims from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
