Audrius Butkevičius started the match with the kick off. Xarles Gadañon was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Sporting Buceo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Karamba:s goal. Estevez Lavega's late challenge caught a FC Karamba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Estevez Lavega helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Karamba booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Estevez Lavega didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute Sporting Buceo were awarded a corner. Martxel Bernia went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to FC Karamba getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Audrius Butkevičius hit a great ball. Kuno Heiberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Estevez Lavega in the 18th minute of the match. When Sidoro Romeu fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Buceo's protests and gave Sidoro Romeu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Sidoro Romeu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Karamba's Kuno Heiberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clementi Llamosas in the 27th minute of play. Kuno Heiberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Tijerina, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, Sporting Buceo's Guillen Ubiña got control of the ball when Liutauras Alekveravičius tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicasio Tijerina took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kuno Heiberg. Kuno Heiberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicasio Tijerina was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Estevez Lavega managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Buceo's supporters rose to their feet, but Estevez Lavega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kuno Heiberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Einaras Kėbla came free, but Guillen Ubiña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Einaras Kėbla came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the FC Karamba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Einaras Kėbla couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, FC Karamba's Rapolas Pukelevičius got a free kick in the 66th minute. A hard shot by Martxel Bernia from long distance, 67 minutes into the match, got Kuno Heiberg's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Guillen Ubiña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Audrius Butkevičius, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Guillen Ubiña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Audrius Butkevičius in the 70th minute of play. Guillen Ubiña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gvidonas Sauliūnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clementi Llamosas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
