Haralampi Kúrkelanov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xiao Jian Bo in the 7th minute. Xie Feng Xi charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xie Feng Xi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, Los Galacticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xie Feng Xi to maneuver through the defense. After 14 played minutes Los Galacticos got a freekick which was hit by Xiao Jian Bo. In the 17th minute, Long Fan Yang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neno Vladimirov, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Haralampi Kúrkelanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mo Ning De in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, VN SOKOLI-VARNA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Argir Ilchev to maneuver through the defense. When Long Fan Yang fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Galacticos's protests and gave Long Fan Yang a yellow card for diving instead. Gercho Nenchovski kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Mao Xu Ang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haralampi Kúrkelanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Haralampi Kúrkelanov got control of the ball when Xiao Jian Bo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute Jiang Ang Xiao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haralampi Kúrkelanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haralampi Kúrkelanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiang Ang Xiao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zhelyazko Baldachki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Los Galacticos booed when VN SOKOLI-VARNA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Krotev didn't get a good kick on the ball. VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Haralampi Kúrkelanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wu Mo in the 54th minute of play. Haralampi Kúrkelanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xiao Jian Bo in the 55th minute of play. Pavlin Bochev kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Orlin Petkanov lost his temper 57 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to VN SOKOLI-VARNA getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Orlin Petkanov hit a great ball. Xiao Jian Bo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Haralampi Kúrkelanov. VN SOKOLI-VARNA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Stoycho Basmadzhiev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zhuo Xu Xi having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mo Ning De in the 67th minute of play forced VN SOKOLI-VARNA's goalkeeper Haralampi Kúrkelanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Los Galacticos getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Long Fan Yang hit a great ball. VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Neno Vladimirov got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stoycho Basmadzhiev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Zhuo Xu Xi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haralampi Kúrkelanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xiao Jian Bo in the 74th minute of the match. After 75 played minutes VN SOKOLI-VARNA got a freekick which was hit by Pavlin Bochev. Haralampi Kúrkelanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xiao Jian Bo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Zhuo Xu Xi managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Valentin Krotev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Haralampi Kúrkelanov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xiao Jian Bo's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Haralampi Kúrkelanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiang Ang Xiao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Long Fan Yang hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Zhuo Xu Xi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Neno Vladimirov. When the referee ended the match the Los Galacticos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
