A well done corner resulted in Bulut Bulutelli drilling the ball in to score 0-2 behind Zamalek FC's goalkeeper. 20 minutes into the match, Bulut Bulutelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tuan Libby. Zamalek FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bulut Bulutelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Bulut Bulutelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Bulut Bulutelli sped through Zamalek FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tuan Libby. After having played for 33 minutes, Bulut Bulutelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 蚂蚁在路上's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bulut Bulutelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bulut Bulutelli took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tuan Libby. Tuan Libby dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 37 minutes into the game, 蚂蚁在路上's Bulut Bulutelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tuan Libby made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. 赵烽亦 hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Tuan Libby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bulut Bulutelli in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, 俞平强 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 蚂蚁在路上's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zamalek FC the free kick. In the 44th match minute, 蚂蚁在路上 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 俞平强 to maneuver through the defense. After the first half 蚂蚁在路上 were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Malcolm Neal made a kick off. Bulut Bulutelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tuan Libby. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bulut Bulutelli ran back to his position shaking his head. Zamalek FC's Tuan Libby proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Zamalek FC from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes into the match, Bulut Bulutelli notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Zamalek FC's Tuan Libby. Tuan Libby was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 蚂蚁在路上 made a substitution. Bengt-Arne Moberg replaced 尤默烽. Bulut Bulutelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tuan Libby read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
