When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Malcolm Neal sped through De Pelgrims's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Laurens Oosterman. Tuan Libby didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jasper Staarman went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Carson Sherrill struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Laurens Oosterman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zamalek FC. 1-3 became the score in the 26th minute when Jasper Staarman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When De Pelgrims's Jasper Staarman, in the 32nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for De Pelgrims. Denny Olson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geert Arend Robben received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Tuan Libby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Jasper Staarman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tuan Libby. The goal made the score 1-7.
