BVB 09's Moritz Kran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhelyazko Baldachki in the 14th minute of play. Moritz Kran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Krotev's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Valentin Krotev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moritz Kran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th match minute, BVB 09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisc Bîndean to maneuver through the defense. Moritz Kran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Krotev in the 20th minute of play. If Iacob Vernescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute Zhelyazko Baldachki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moritz Kran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Moritz Kran showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 28 minutes, Neno Vladimirov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VN SOKOLI-VARNA and the BVB 09 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes VN SOKOLI-VARNA got a freekick which was hit by Neno Vladimirov. Moritz Kran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Krotev, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Gercho Nenchovski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. BVB 09's attentive Lucian Josan managed to snatch the ball when Neno Vladimirov made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. After 43 played minutes VN SOKOLI-VARNA got a freekick which was hit by Pavlin Bochev. Iacob Vernescu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Haralampi Kúrkelanov firmly grabbed it by the left post. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisc Bîndean was the one to do the kick off. Haralampi Kúrkelanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iacob Vernescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in VN SOKOLI-VARNA's zone, Iacob Vernescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haralampi Kúrkelanov came out of the goal and Iacob Vernescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th match minute, VN SOKOLI-VARNA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavlin Bochev to maneuver through the defense. Orlin Petkanov hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. If Iacob Vernescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 61 played minutes BVB 09 got a freekick which was hit by Lucian Josan. In the 61st minute of the match Neno Vladimirov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Moritz Kran skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, BVB 09's Moritz Kran got control of the ball when Valentin Krotev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Haralampi Kúrkelanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisc Bîndean in the 64th minute of the match. Francisc Bîndean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. BVB 09's Moritz Kran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save BVB 09 from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moise Cristoloveanu in the 92nd minute of play forced VN SOKOLI-VARNA's goalkeeper Haralampi Kúrkelanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
