Carmichael Carbery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuno Heiberg having to interfere. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Manly FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fidel Kelemen was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Karamba's players had a chance to rest. The corner led FC Karamba's Fidel Kelemen to fire away a dangerous shot which Sydney Ross despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kuno Heiberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of John Aldridge's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Manly FC's John Aldridge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kuno Heiberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Gvidonas Sauliūnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Manly FC's John Aldridge in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Karamba's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Manly FC's zone, Eurelijus Sutkus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sydney Ross came out of the goal and Eurelijus Sutkus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, FC Karamba's goal looked a bit too open when John Aldridge came free, but Kuno Heiberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. John Aldridge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuno Heiberg having to interfere. In the 31st minute John Aldridge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuno Heiberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sydney Ross showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurelijus Sutkus, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, Manly FC's Sydney Ross got control of the ball when Audrius Butkevičius tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell John Aldridge to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Aldridge in the 55th minute of play forced FC Karamba's goalkeeper Kuno Heiberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Karamba's Liutauras Alekveravičius suffered a concussion after 57 minutes and had to leave the field. Carmichael Carbery's late challenge caught a FC Karamba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmichael Carbery helped the player get up and apologised. FC Karamba's Tautvydas Urnikis was substituted for Liutauras Alekveravičius. Carmichael Carbery hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Eurelijus Sutkus took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sydney Ross. Sydney Ross dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Manly FC were furious when Paz Bennett was red carded, 64 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Paz Bennett hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Carmichael Carbery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sydney Ross took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Einaras Kėbla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rapolas Pukelevičius kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Sydney Ross showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Audrius Butkevičius in the 82nd minute of the match. Audrius Butkevičius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Ross having to interfere. If Eurelijus Sutkus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute of the match FC Karamba got a corner. Manly FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fidel Kelemen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nilson Snabl kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Karamba fully deserved thier win.
