Yu Hong Feng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasper Staarman in the 2nd minute of play. Yu Hong Feng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kurt Ginneken in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, De Pelgrims's Jouke Jacobs got a free kick in the 12th minute. Laurens Oosterman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xiao Jian Bo in the 14th minute of play. Xiao Jian Bo's late challenge caught a De Pelgrims's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xiao Jian Bo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Xiao Jian Bo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laurens Oosterman came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Galacticos's Jiang Ang Xiao. But to his dismay, Jiang Ang Xiao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Laurens Oosterman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xiao Jian Bo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurens Oosterman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mao Xu Ang in the 28th minute of the match. After 29 minutes of play, Los Galacticos's Wu Mo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laurens Oosterman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mo Ning De hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 33 minutes, Kurt Ginneken made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Los Galacticos's Yu Hong Feng tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute Wu Mo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurens Oosterman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 42 minutes on the clock, Jan-Peter Kloppenburg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of De Pelgrims:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Galacticos:s goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jasper Staarman to make the kick off. Yu Hong Feng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jasper Staarman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jouke Jacobs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Yu Hong Feng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laurens Oosterman made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Wu Mo sent off a good shot on target. Yu Hong Feng came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by De Pelgrims's Jasper Staarman. But to his dismay, Jasper Staarman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Xiao Jian Bo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Laurens Oosterman made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jasper Staarman in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yu Hong Feng saved Los Galacticos from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wu Mo got free with Laurens Oosterman in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jasper Staarman in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yu Hong Feng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Los Galacticos's Laurens Oosterman threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mao Xu Ang, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Yu Hong Feng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herman Craandijk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurens Oosterman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiang Ang Xiao, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xiao Jian Bo in the 88th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Laurens Oosterman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Galacticos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
