Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ingemar Stålman kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Manly FC's John Aldridge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ingvar Hellkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. John Aldridge struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Ingvar Hellkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manly FC. Ingvar Hellkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carmichael Carbery went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ingemar Stålman might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sydney Ross. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingemar Stålman ran back to his position shaking his head. 16 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Stålman came free, but Sydney Ross reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match Hermanö Oilers got a corner. Manly FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jonathan Kvarnström ran over to the corner to take the kick. Karl-Michael Löfkvist made in the 22nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Leonardo Sundin however managed to control. In the 22nd minute, Ingemar Stålman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermanö Oilers's Ingvar Hellkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Aldridge in the 26th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Hermanö Oilers got a freekick which was hit by Remigiusz Odachowski. Manly FC's Carmichael Carbery got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Ingemar Stålman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the game, Al Capone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hermanö Oilers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manly FC the free kick. Hermanö Oilers's Ingvar Hellkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilson Snabl in the 44th minute of play. Nilson Snabl charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nilson Snabl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Hermanö Oilers booed when Manly FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Snabl didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when John Aldridge stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sydney Ross took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orvar Stenquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Carmichael Carbery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Hellkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sydney Ross didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ingemar Stålman went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Sydney Ross showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orvar Stenquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Hermanö Oilers's Jonathan Kvarnström got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute of the match Nilson Snabl sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ingvar Hellkvist skillfully saved the ball. Ingvar Hellkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Aldridge in the 66th minute. Ingemar Stålman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81stth minute of the game Carmichael Carbery who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hermanö Oilers's Ingvar Hellkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Manly FC fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Manly FC's Carmichael Carbery looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Manly FC's Duke Carberry got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 90th minute, Manly FC's Carmichael Carbery dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Manly FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
