Jasper Staarman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sporting Buceo's Guillen Ubiña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Buceo from getting a goal against them. In the 15th match minute, De Pelgrims was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tonnie Ter to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of De Pelgrims booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xarles Gadañon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillen Ubiña was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jasper Staarman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estevez Lavega in the 22nd minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Laurens Oosterman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clementi Llamosas to maneuver through the defense. Guillen Ubiña was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jasper Staarman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. After 26 played minutes Sporting Buceo got a freekick which was hit by Martxel Bernia. In the 27th minute, Gutierrre Valseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. De Pelgrims's Jasper Staarman got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Ødegaard came free, but Laurens Oosterman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Martin Ødegaard put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Laurens Oosterman. Gutierrre Valseca kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Jasper Staarman came free, but Guillen Ubiña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Sporting Buceo's Sengrat Vid seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sengrat Vid the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sporting Buceo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sengrat Vid had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Sporting Buceo:s Guillen Ubiña showed great skill when he stopped Herman Craandijk:s penalty.

In the 51st minute Jasper Staarman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Ubiña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 52 minutes Sporting Buceo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Herman Craandijk who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Herman Craandijk got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guillen Ubiña quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 54th minute, Jasper Staarman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Pelgrims fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Laurens Oosterman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guillen Ubiña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jasper Staarman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurens Oosterman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Estevez Lavega in the 75th minute. Guillen Ubiña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jasper Staarman in the 78th minute of the match. If Estevez Lavega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guillen Ubiña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasper Staarman in the 82nd minute of play. Guillen Ubiña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jouke Jacobs in the 83rd minute of play. Danny van den Hoogen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Danny van den Hoogen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Pelgrims's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danny van den Hoogen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 92 played minutes Sporting Buceo got a freekick which was hit by Vachon Camaño. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sporting Buceo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for De Pelgrims.
