But to his dismay, Ingemar Stålman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Orvar Stenquist kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Hermanö Oilers's Ingemar Stålman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tuan Libby made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Orvar Stenquist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tuan Libby having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Malcolm Neal during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Zamalek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malcolm Neal to maneuver through the defense. Tuan Libby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orvar Stenquist in the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Hermanö Oilers booed when Zamalek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lloyd Warren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 played minutes, Hermanö Oilers's Jonathan Kvarnström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tuan Libby came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hermanö Oilers reached it. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Tuan Libby, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonardo Sundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Leonardo Sundin came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Hermanö Oilers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Sundin couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute Orvar Stenquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuan Libby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ingemar Stålman made the kick off in the second half. If Leonardo Sundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 56th minute, Bennett Waddell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Kvarnström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Zamalek FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Sundin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingemar Stålman got free with Tuan Libby in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ingemar Stålman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ingemar Stålman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tuan Libby. That made the score 0-11 in the 64 minute of play. Tuan Libby didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 71st minute, which inside left pole to 0-13. Zamalek FC's Tuan Libby proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Zamalek FC from getting a goal against them. In the 79th minute, Sonny Åkesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermanö Oilers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
