After 2 played minutes Los Galacticos got a freekick which was hit by Lv Yi Xing. Yu Hong Feng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Audrius Butkevičius in the 3rd minute of the match. Qi Ao Lin kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Audrius Butkevičius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Yu Hong Feng was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Audrius Butkevičius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mo Ning De kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Wu Mo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Kuno Heiberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xiao Jian Bo got free with Kuno Heiberg in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a rather tough play, FC Karamba's Fidel Kelemen got a free kick in the 54th minute. When Audrius Butkevičius came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the FC Karamba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Audrius Butkevičius couldn't finish the play. After 62 minutes, Sun Ying Yan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Galacticos and the FC Karamba players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Karamba booed when Los Galacticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sun Ying Yan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yu Hong Feng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Einaras Kėbla in the 64th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Einaras Kėbla made a precise shot to the right of Yu Hong Feng. Los Galacticos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Jiang Ang Xiao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kuno Heiberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xiao Jian Bo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Los Galacticos's corner Sun Ying Yan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kuno Heiberg quite easily take care of the ball. Xiao Jian Bo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kuno Heiberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurelijus Sutkus in the 89th minute of play forced Los Galacticos's goalkeeper Yu Hong Feng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jiang Ang Xiao might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kuno Heiberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jiang Ang Xiao ran back to his position shaking his head. Eurelijus Sutkus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The FC Karamba supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Karamba would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
