Dirk Talsma hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After 5 played minutes Hvam FC got a freekick which was hit by Stuparu Chyba. Hvam FC's Kristen Krasmer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Hvam FC from getting a goal against them. 7 minutes into the match, Dirk Talsma dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kristen Krasmer, 1-0. Dirk Talsma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristen Krasmer having to interfere. Kristen Krasmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dirk Talsma in the 16th minute of the match. When Gerard van Diemen fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Pelgrims's protests and gave Gerard van Diemen a yellow card for diving instead. Gerard van Diemen hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. De Pelgrims's Laurens Oosterman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Guimarães in the 26th minute of play. After 29 minutes Hvam FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elbert Spanjer who took care of the corner kick. Habakkuk Albert tried in the 29th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Kristen Krasmer a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-0. Habakkuk Cole took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laurens Oosterman. Laurens Oosterman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elbert Spanjer in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristen Krasmer saved Hvam FC from getting behind. Kristen Krasmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dirk Talsma in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elbert Spanjer in the 39th minute of play forced Hvam FC's goalkeeper Kristen Krasmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurens Oosterman having to interfere. After a rather tough play, De Pelgrims's Gerard van Diemen got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Habakkuk Cole was the one to do the kick off. Laurens Oosterman made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Bruno Guimarães sent off a good shot on target. Laurens Oosterman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Guimarães in the 61st minute of the match. Koos Keupink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristen Krasmer having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Guimarães came free, but Laurens Oosterman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Koos Keupink cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Kristen Krasmer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hvam FC made a substitution. Habakkuk Ferdinand replaced Habakkuk Cole. Laurens Oosterman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Habakkuk Ferdinand in the 79th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Habakkuk Ferdinand kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Laurens Oosterman. That made the score 4-2 in the 81 minute of play. The supporters of De Pelgrims booed when Hvam FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Habakkuk Albert didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Elbert Spanjer managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Pelgrims's supporters rose to their feet, but Elbert Spanjer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristen Krasmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Hvam FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Habakkuk Albert hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Tonnie Ter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. De Pelgrims had won after a very even match.
