The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aivaras Barkus during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Karamba getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Aivaras Barkus hit a great ball. When Jonathan Kvarnström came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Hermanö Oilers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Kvarnström couldn't finish the play. If Gvidonas Sauliūnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Karamba's Kuno Heiberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save FC Karamba from getting a goal against them. When Luís Eduardo Loureiro fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hermanö Oilers's protests and gave Luís Eduardo Loureiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st match minute, Hermanö Oilers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Eduardo Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. Ingvar Hellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gvidonas Sauliūnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, Hermanö Oilers's Ingvar Hellkvist got control of the ball when Audrius Butkevičius tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute, Leonardo Sundin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonardo Sundin kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Eurelijus Sutkus made a precise shot to the right of Ingvar Hellkvist. Hermanö Oilers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Hermanö Oilers's Orvar Stenquist got a free kick in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the match, FC Karamba's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Sundin came free, but Kuno Heiberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Audrius Butkevičius could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Ingvar Hellkvist however easily saved by the left post. Ingvar Hellkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Audrius Butkevičius in the 76th minute of play. Kuno Heiberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Sundin in the 77th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Sundin in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kuno Heiberg saved FC Karamba from getting behind. Kuno Heiberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Stålman in the 83rd minute of the match. Audrius Butkevičius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ingvar Hellkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Einaras Kėbla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Sundin in the 90th minute of play forced FC Karamba's goalkeeper Kuno Heiberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kuno Heiberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orvar Stenquist's shot from short distance in the 91st minute.
