Sporting Buceo's Cordero Trielles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Buceo from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Fang Sha Lang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fang Sha Lang made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sporting Buceo's Flavian Bastin. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Galacticos's goalkeeper Zhuo Xu Xi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Sergio Rengifo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Buceo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Sergio Rengifo came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Sporting Buceo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Rengifo couldn't finish the play. Fang Sha Lang kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Los Galacticos's zone, Sergio Rengifo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zhuo Xu Xi came out of the goal and Sergio Rengifo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Sergio Rengifo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Buceo's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Rengifo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zhuo Xu Xi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 66 minutes of play, Los Galacticos's Wu Mo made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cordero Trielles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sergio Rengifos short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Zhuo Xu Xi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Qi Ao Lin hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Sergio Rengifo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zhuo Xu Xi having to interfere. When Sergio Rengifo came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Sporting Buceo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Rengifo couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sergio Rengifo in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zhuo Xu Xi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Galacticos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gutierrre Valseca was slow to take the kick. During this time Sporting Buceo's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Sporting Buceo getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Deunoro Hinojosa hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sporting Buceo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
