The corner ended in Yu Song Xun almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tierras altas AFC's Antonio Natal did a great save. Yu Hong Feng made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Temel Lütufkâr sent off a good shot on target. Los Galacticos's Yu Hong Feng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Los Galacticos from getting a goal against them. Temel Lütufkâr's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Yu Hong Feng skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Antonio Natal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jiang Ang Xiao in the 22nd minute of play. Antonio Natal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xiao Jian Bo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yu Hong Feng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Armando Maradona in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Galacticos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 毛真松 was slow to take the kick. During this time Tierras altas AFC's players had a chance to rest. Diego Armando Maradona was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a rather tough play, Los Galacticos's Wu Mo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Tierras altas AFC's Temel Lütufkâr got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 37 minutes, Xiao Jian Bo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Galacticos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xiao Jian Bo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tierras altas AFC's Antonio Natal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xiao Jian Bo in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wu Mo in the 45th minute of play forced Tierras altas AFC's goalkeeper Antonio Natal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedicto Neron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Yu Hong Feng made a huge save. Yu Hong Feng was a little too slow when Diego Armando Maradona got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xiao Jian Bo to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xiao Jian Bo got free with Antonio Natal in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Neron in the 54th minute of play forced Los Galacticos's goalkeeper Yu Hong Feng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xiao Jian Bos short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Antonio Natal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 59th minute, Tierras altas AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wu Mo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Antonio Natal made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Xiao Jian Bo sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Galacticos's Jiang Ang Xiao slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Antonio Natal. That made the score 1-2 after 64 minutes of play. Jacobo Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Xiao Jian Bo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xiao Jian Bo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Antonio Natal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Xiao Jian Bos short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Antonio Natal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Xiao Jian Bo struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Antonio Natal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Galacticos. If Jiang Ang Xiao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
