An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Leonard Treppa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Lisandro Ihintza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Treppa in the 9th minute of play. Kamal Pahlevi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo de Sousa in the 14th minute of play forced Tirant lo Blanch's goalkeeper Kamal Pahlevi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Pitin Vallejo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kamal Pahlevi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Sanches in the 24th minute of the match. Leonard Treppa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Ihintza having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Jung 1972's zone, Pitin Vallejo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Ihintza came out of the goal and Pitin Vallejo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the game, Tirant lo Blanch's Leonard Treppa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lisandro Ihintza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Jorge Carmona hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Paulo de Sousa came free, but Kamal Pahlevi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lisandro Ihintza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Treppa, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Jung 1972's goalkeeper Lisandro Ihintza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonard Treppa. Leonard Treppa scored 2-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lisandro Ihintza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 48th minute, Leonard Treppa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lisandro Ihintza was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0.

A collision led to Jung 1972 getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Franklin Trigo hit a great ball. Leonard Treppa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lisandro Ihintza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Leonard Treppa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lisandro Ihintza. Jung 1972's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonard Treppa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Jung 1972 made a substitution. In the 77th minute Carmen Paniagua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Ihintza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Carmen Paniagua made a precise shot to the right of Lisandro Ihintza. Jung 1972's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Paulo de Sousa got free with Kamal Pahlevi in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lisandro Ihintza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmen Paniagua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Tirant lo Blanch players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
