Andırın SK's Zhu Ao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanek Walczyk in the 19th minute of play. Jacob Rieu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zhu Ao having to interfere. Firmin Négrel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Türkeş Akşit in the 27th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dudu Georgescu was the one to do the kick off.
