With a little luck, Royal PSG's Tristan Bétourne got control of the ball when Loco Martin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute Royal PSG were awarded a corner. Flavien Villemin went to the cornerflag to take it. Flavien Villemin made a great header on Royal PSG's corner, it was just that FC Jamala's Petr Školník managed to reach the ball for a save. 12 minutes into the match, Royal PSG's Edoardo Filippini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petr Školník narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Royal PSG's Tristan Bétourne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Royal PSG from getting a goal against them. In the 25th match minute, FC Jamala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakša Lalović to maneuver through the defense. Henning Eriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Tristan Bétourne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 minutes FC Jamala's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Flavien Villemin who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Flavien Villemin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Jamala's Petr Školník did a great save. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Tristan Bétourne successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Petr Školník showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luquet in the 37th minute of the match. Petr Školník took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edoardo Filippini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Jamala's Petr Školník played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Filippini in the 40th minute of play. Tristan Bétourne made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Loco Martin sent off a good shot on target.

54 minutes into the game, Jakša Lalović threw the ball into play from the sideline. Royal PSG's Théophile Boutillier quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tristan Bétourne came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Jamala's Loco Martin. But to his dismay, Loco Martin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Tristan Bétourne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Martin in the 72nd minute of play. Loco Martin might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tristan Bétourne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Loco Martin ran back to his position shaking his head. Royal PSG's Çeliker Müjdat quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jakša Lalović, made in the 74th minute of the game. Petr Školník showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edoardo Filippini, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Petr Školník made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Edoardo Filippini sent off a good shot on target. The corner ended in Edoardo Filippini almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Jamala's Petr Školník did a great save. Tristan Bétourne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Martin in the 81st minute of play. Tristan Bétourne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loco Martin, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 89th minute Edoardo Filippini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Školník saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Royal PSG booed when FC Jamala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakša Lalović didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd match minute, Royal PSG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edoardo Filippini to maneuver through the defense. Petr Školník made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edoardo Filippini in the 95th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FC Jamala players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
