Manga Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Edu Terra 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the match was over Mexilhão F. C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MACUMBA throughout the match.
