A sloppy throw-in by Mustafa Hakan Uğuz in the 11th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AKS Kozienice's Grzegorz Zieba. The throw-in from Mustafa Hakan Uğuz in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AKS Kozienice's Romarinho Riquelme. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romarinho Riquelme in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kuddusî Özdoğal saved H E P T A N from getting behind. Babbis Dermitzakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Grzegorz Siekierski made a huge save. Kuddusî Özdoğal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhang Song Fan in the 23rd minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Aytunç Üstündağ was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. H E P T A N's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AKS Kozienice the free kick. The supporters of AKS Kozienice booed when H E P T A N was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aytunç Üstündağ didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Hakan Uğuz kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Zhang Song Fan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kuddusî Özdoğal was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 34th match minute, AKS Kozienice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grzegorz Zieba to maneuver through the defense. Romarinho Riquelme helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Romarinho Riquelme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute of the match, Metin Uğurhan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Grzegorz Siekierski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Babbis Dermitzakis made the kick off in the second half. Zhang Song Fan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Kuddusî Özdoğal made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Babbis Dermitzakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. H E P T A N's supporters rose to their feet, but Babbis Dermitzakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grzegorz Siekierski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute Babbis Dermitzakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Siekierski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grzegorz Siekierski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babbis Dermitzakis in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Zhang Song Fan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kuddusî Özdoğal. H E P T A N's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zhang Song Fan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kylian D Agostino during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anıl Cansal hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, AKS Kozienice's goal looked a bit too open when Babbis Dermitzakis came free, but Grzegorz Siekierski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Babbis Dermitzakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The H E P T A N fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The AKS Kozienice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Grzegorz Siekierski should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Zhang Song Fan managed to get in a good position for a shot. AKS Kozienice's supporters rose to their feet, but Zhang Song Fan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romarinho Riquelme in the 89th minute of play forced H E P T A N's goalkeeper Kuddusî Özdoğal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zhang Song Fan took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kuddusî Özdoğal. Kuddusî Özdoğal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. AKS Kozienice's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
